MAS and the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics sign a cooperation agreement to prepare and issue the quarterly economic monitor
The Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute (MAS) and the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) signed an agreement renewing cooperation between the two institutions aimed at supporting the preparation and publication of the Economic Monitor.
The agreement was signed during a meeting held at the headquarters of PCBS, attended by the Acting President of PCBS, Mr. Sufian Abu Harb, and the Director General of MAS, Dr. Feras Milhem. The meeting focused on recent economic developments in light of prevailing challenges and explored opportunities to enhance cooperation in areas of economic analysis and in developing policy-oriented research and papers.
It is noteworthy that in addition to collaborating with PCBS, MAS produces the Monitor in collaboration with two other national institutions: the Palestine Monetary Authority (PMA) and the Palestine Capital Market Authority (PCMA).
