MAS Institute and Palestine Exchange (PEX) Explore Opportunities for Strategic Partnership
Ramallah, Wednesday, March 11, 2026: MAS’s Director General, Dr. Feras Milhem, received a delegation from the Palestine Exchange (PEX), led by its Chairwoman, Ms. Rula Shunnar, at the Institute’s headquarters today.
During the meeting, Mr. Nihad Kamal, PEX General Manager, provided an overview of the Palestinian financial and capital markets, emphasizing their resilience and continued advancement despite the challenging economic and political conditions in Palestine.
The discussions focused on ways to advance cooperation between MAS and PEX in support of economic research and the development of the investment environment in Palestine. Such a potential partnership is envisaged to enable data exchange, implement joint research initiatives, and capacity-building programs serving capital markets and the broader economic sector.
Concluding the meeting, the two institutions underscored the importance of sustained coordination and collaborative efforts in the coming period. They emphasized the crucial role of research and financial institutions in supporting the development of the financial market and contributing to the steadfastness and growth of the Palestinian economy.
