Financing of UNRWA 2020-2030: From a Palestinian Refugee Perspective

The Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute (MAS) is pleased to invite you to participate in a webinar on:

Financing of UNRWA 2020-2030:

From a Palestinian  Refugee Perspective

Strengthening the Rights of Refugees within the Framework of the UNRWA Funding Model through Contributions from Member States

Monday, October 17, 2022 between 14:00-15:30

This research presents the results of a dialogue hosted by MAS since 2020 about the future of UNRWA funding and to reinforce the inevitability of its existence, as the international community cannot evade its responsibilities towards recognizing the basic rights of millions of Palestinian refugees, as a minimum, if their plight remains unresolved or if it is ignored on the international agenda.  This ensures maintaining the provision of basic services to the most deprived groups in refugee camps and slums in Palestine and in the region, in addition to preserving the rights of refugees in a tangible way.
