Taking place on Monday, 7 September 2026, between 12:30 and 14:30 at MAS Building – Al Masyoun, Mouin Bseisso Street, Ramallah and via Zoom

The study aims to assess the current state and governance of licensing services provided within the transport sector in Palestine through a field study of the Traffic Directorates in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh and Nablus governorates, as representative cases of Traffic Directorates in the West Bank. The study seeks to provide a comprehensive analysis that combines the perspectives of service recipients and institutions, enabling an integrated understanding of the nature of the services, their delivery mechanisms, and the challenges they face.

MAS prepared this study as part of the “Transparency, Evidence, Efficiency, Effectiveness and Accountability TEA³ Programme” implemented by the United Nations Development Programme /Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP), with funding from the British Consulate General-Jerusalem (FCDO), Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
