In March the Al-Quds index declined by 4.8% and closed down at 474.96 points. The index reached its highest (506.01) and lowest (471.87) levels on 9 and 26 March, respectively.
A total of 31.3 million shares were traded throughout the month for the total value of $59.4 million, which marked a 151.8% increase in the traded volume and a 142.0% increase in the traded value from the previous month. In terms of volume, the most traded shares were: Bank of Palestine (BOP) (42.5% of the total), The National Bank (TNB) (36.1%), and Palestine Development & Investment (PADICO) (5.6%). With regards to value, most traded were: BOP (56.5%), TNB (23.0%), and Palestine Telecommunications (PALTEL) (9.7%).
